James leads our crop input sales from of our Cobden plant in the Ottawa Valley. James’ greatest pride in working with the MacEwen crop input team is the significant investment that the company makes in local agriculture—welcomed by local producers.

James has more than 20 years of experience in the dairy industry, so he knows that farming is not a nine-to-five job. James has a strong personal and professional relationship with his customers and is a true “Valley Boy”.

Since 1988, Lenny Van Loon has been successfully contributing to MacEwen Agricentre’s positioning as a leader in the industry. Born and raised on a dairy farm, Lenny is well trained and extremely experienced in the industry.

Lenny believes that the most rewarding part of working with MacEwen Agricentre is helping customers achieve their profitability goals. He’s proud that many of his clients have the highest production results in Eastern Ontario.

With a series of accolades under his belt, including being a certified Dairy Nutrition Advisor and obtaining a degree from University of Illinois in Dairy Nutrition and Science. Lenny is able to bring to the MacEwen team a wealth of useful industry knowledge.

Coralie graduated from McGill University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural and environmental sciences with a specialization in animal health and disease. She worked in veterinary hospitals as an assistant for 5 years before joining the MacEwen Agricentre team in 2021 as a dairy nutrition advisor.

Having grown up in Montreal, Coralie developed a passion for the dairy industry while working on a dairy farm in Quebec and later on in Switzerland. She was involved in the daily operations such as milking and feeding the cows, taking care of the calves and administering treatments. She understands the dedication it takes to operate a farm.

Coralie enjoys building relationship with the clients and is always looking for the next challenge. She wants to help farmers reach their goals while always maintaining the health of the cows as her priority.

Willow graduated from the University of Guelph in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science, studying animal biology and minoring in nutritional and nutraceutical sciences. She grew up on a beef farm in Leeds and Grenville, where she developed a passion for ruminants, which continued to grow while working on a dairy farm over the past eight years. Willow was also involved in her community, participating in her local 4H club showing dairy calves. Through her former experiences, she has learned the strength and skills required to operate farms in the dairy industry.

In May 2023, Willow joined the MacEwen Agricentre Inc. team working as a Dairy Nutrition Assistant. She is eager to continue to stay connected to the dairy industry along with developing and utilizing her skills to build relationships and help clients continue to reach their goals.

Growing up in North Glengarry, Shannon was surrounded by a strong agricultural community which fostered a passion for animal health and nutrition.

She completed her bachelor’s degree in agriculture and environmental science from McGill University in 2018 and a master’s degree in animal science from the University of Guelph in 2021.

Throughout her studies, she led research projects with dairy cattle on McGill’s Macdonald campus farm, equine species with UofG’s Arkell Equine Research Facility and worked as an assistant for a veterinary clinic in Quebec. Before returning to SD&G, Shannon also worked as a herdsperson for a dairy cattle farm in Ilderton, ON.

In July 2022, Shannon returned home and joined the MacEwen Agricentre team. With the health of the animal at heart, she looks forward to collaborating with clientele, and optimizing growth and production to reach a farmer’s goals.

Victoria graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Biology in 2021. After completing her Bachelor’s, she worked in biochemistry and neuro labs.

In November 2023, Victoria joined the MacEwen Agricentre Team as a Dairy Assistant. She shows great promise with her perseverance to step outside of the box to venture into agriculture and her determination to learn a new industry.

Isabella has always had a passion for agriculture since spending time on her grandparent’s farm to her participation in 4H for 9 years. She worked for a local dairy farm for 7 years while pursuing her Diploma in Business Agriculture from Algonquin College.

While her passion for ruminant nutrition continues to grow, Isabella continues to expand her knowledge to help farmers increase their herd production.
